Job summary
We are looking for a Clinical Assistant to join our Ultrasound team, in London on a full-time, fixed-term basis. Working in a range of clinical settings, you will be providing the best patient care, assisting our Sonographers as they carry out Ultrasound scanning procedures. You will work at several clinic locations across London, so your travel costs will be covered by InHealth.
The working hours for the role are generally 9-5pm, working 5 days out of 7, Monday-Sunday, including some weekends.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
Welcome patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure
Escort patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally
Complete the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form
Assess and monitor the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately
Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system
Dealing with telephone, direct and face to face enquiries
