Job summary

As an Audiology Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both patients and practitioners to ensure a smooth and efficient service. From greeting and preparing patients to assisting with clinical and administrative tasks, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality audiology care in a safe and professional environment.

Main duties of the job

Welcome and assist patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the procedure. Verify patient identification and provide relevant examination details with practitioner support. Support patients with hearing aid concerns, offering guidance on their use and maintenance. Maintain smooth workflow by managing clinical and administrative tasks efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control, and data protection policies. Keep clinical areas clean, monitor equipment, and report any issues to senior staff. Handle patient queries with empathy and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality at all times. Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
