Job summary

Main duties of the job

A full UK driving license is required, and successful candidates will receive either a company car or a car allowance. Key Responsibilities: Welcome patients professionally, ensuring their privacy and dignity are maintained at all times. Verify patient identification and complete pre-scan consent and data protection forms. Document patient medical history before procedures and prepare patients for clinical procedures. Perform Intra-Venous cannulations and assess patients conditions post-procedure, reporting any changes. Advise patients on procedure details with support from practitioners. Manage clinical risk within your designated work area. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy clinical environment. Enter accurate and up-to-date information into the patient management system. Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct them to the relevant staff member. Monitor and reorder consumables, laundry, and patient gowns as needed. Ensure effective stock control and organization of equipment on mobile units. Clean and monitor equipment, reporting any issues to senior staff. Participate in governance activities, audits, personal development, training, and team meetings. Adhere to safety requirements for the work environment and equipment.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the clinic by greeting and preparing patients for their procedures. Using a patient management system, you will provide both clinical and clerical support to practitioners, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. You will maintain a safe clinical environment in line with the companys Health and Safety and Infection Control standards.
