Job summary

Ensure the delivery of a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules through the provision of management and supervision to the cleaning team.

Main duties of the job

1. Through the day to day management of domestic services, ensure the provision of a high quality, cost effective service which reflects customer need and operates as an effective commercial business unit. 2. Ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with health & safety requirements, "NHS National Specification of Cleaning Standards", Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures. 3. Complete, in good time, any administration activities associated with the role, including but not limited to: timesheets submission and approval onto the company HR information systems; rostering; absence records; annual leave information; stock order forms and NHS Property Services/ward communications.

Job responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Domestic/cleaning Team Leader - Mobile to join our team based at Woking - Woking Community Hospital.

  • This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Shift pattern- Monday-Friday 11am-7pm
  • Pay- £13.57 per hour.
  • A driving licence & DBS check is required.
  • Training will be provided
  • About the role: This role will deliver a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules. . Qualifications - City and Guilds Level 3 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience. IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards. What we can offer you:
