Job summary

Aurora Medcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a part-time role (3 sessions per week), with flexibility around working days for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

The Practice Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care and support across a range of clinical areas. This includes managing long-term condition reviews (such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension), administering immunisations for children and adults, and carrying out cervical screening. The role also involves offering health promotion and lifestyle advice, supporting chronic disease management to aid QOF achievement, and delivering travel vaccinations and related guidance.

Aurora Medcare is a Dynamic General practice serving the population of East London.

The practice was created by combining two highly regarded award winning practices: King Edwards Medical Group and Thames View Medical Centre. These practices have been serving the community of Barking and Dagenham NHS for over 100 years.
