An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to become a part of our small yet growing HR Team. You will have the chance to develop and design the payroll processes, delivering top-tier payroll guidance and assistance Nottingham City General Practice Alliance.

This is an opportunity to be part of and work alongside experienced HR and Finance professionals. The successful candidate will be required to manage the production of monthly payrolls by checking the various monthly payroll reports throughout the monthly payroll cycle.

Proficiency in IT is essential as the post holder will be required to maintain the HR/Payroll database accurately. Additionally, they must have excellent administration, organisation, and customer service skills as well as the ability to work accurately in a customer focused provision.

The post will be based within our Head Office on Upper Parliament Street and will work closely with NCGPA's increasing number of practices and PCN Workforce.

Main duties of the job

Under the supervision of the Head of HR, the post holder will be responsible for payroll for the organisation, ensuring that specified deadlines and data quality standards are met at all times.

The post holder will manage the production of monthly payrolls by checking the various monthly payroll reports throughout the monthly payroll cycle.

The post holder will manage the HR and Payroll system, providing support for the payroll section in specified technical aspects of payroll work, including processing payroll data using the payroll system, Civica.
