An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to become a part of our small yet growing HR Team. Within this collaborative environment, you will have the chance to gain expertise in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, delivering comprehensive and top-tier HR guidance and assistance to Nottingham City General Practice Alliance.

This is an opportunity to be part of and work alongside experienced HR professionals. The successful candidate will be required to effectively provide advice regarding HR policies and procedures as well as support managers with employee relation casework.

Proficiency in IT is essential as the post holder will be required to maintain the HR/Payroll database accurately. Additionally, they must have excellent administration, organisation, and customer service skills as well as the ability to work accurately in a customer focused provision.

The post will be based within our Head Office on Upper Parliament Street and will work closely with NCGPA's increasing number of practices and PCN Workforce.

Main duties of the job

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering a highly effective HR service and partnership to the practices and PCN workforce within Nottingham City General Practice Alliance (NCGPA). The HR Advisor will be at the forefront of organisational change, managing employee relations cases, overseeing recruitment, and contributing to HR-related projects.

The post holder will work within a small team of HR professionals and continually strive to improve systems and processes to ensure NCGPA is an employer of choice and HR provides an effective service to help ensure this.

The HR Advisor will act as the first point of contact and provide a solution focused and timely advisory service on people management activities which covers the whole of the employment life cycle and is in adherence with employment law, policies and procedures and good practice.
