An
exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and forward thinking
Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at Haven Court.
We
are an 80-bedded, purpose built facility providing a comprehensive range of
services. This includes long term residential and nursing care services,
reablement and respite services, the Cedar Unit for end of life and day
services for older people. We aim to provide the highest
quality of health and social care services to residents who live across South
Tyneside. We are conveniently located on Harton Lane, South Shields.

Main duties of the job
Working under the direction of
the Registered Manager and Deputies, the successful candidate will oversee the
effective delivery of the service on a daily basis, liaise with families and
other agencies and represent the best interests of the residents within the
nursing and residential units. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will
provide personalised, high quality and safe nursing care whilst being involved
in helping to shape services and future developments. You should be able to
demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be
supported in your development and further learning opportunities are available.
You will be flexible to meet the needs of the
service and be able to meet the requirements of the shift pattern which
includes a combination of long days, earlies, lates and rotation onto
nightshift. The roster covers 7 days of the week, 24 hours per day. Full time,
part time and flexible working is available
