An exciting opportunity has
arisen for enthusiastic and forward thinking Registered Nurses to join our
nursing bank at Haven Court. This role is perfect for those who are looking for
a flexible way of working or looking for extra hours in a new environment.
We
are an 80-bedded, purpose built facility providing a comprehensive range of
services. This includes long term residential and nursing care services,
reablement and respite services, the Cedar Unit for end of life and day
services for older people. We aim to provide the highest
quality of health and social care services to residents who live across South
Tyneside. We are conveniently located on Harton Lane, South Shields.

Main duties of the job
Working under the direction of
the Registered Manager and Deputies, the successful candidate will oversee the
effective delivery of the service on a daily basis, liaise with families and
other agencies and represent the best interests of the residents within the
nursing and residential units. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will
provide personalised, high quality and safe nursing care whilst being involved
in helping to shape services and future developments. You should be able to
demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be
supported in your development and further learning opportunities are available.
The
roster covers 7 days of the week, 24 hours per day and all shifts would be
available including days and nights when required.
