Job summary
The Deputy Practice Manager will play a key operational leadership role across both NHS-commissioned services and Cedar Park Healthcare private services offered. The post holder will support the day-to-day management of the practice, ensuring services are efficient, compliant, and high quality, with a particular focus on coordinating and developing private community services within Cedar Park.
Main duties of the job
Oversee daily operations, support strategy, optimise clinic utilisation, manage escalations. Responsible for the smooth, efficient, and profitable running of Cedar Park Healthcare, and maintaining a happy and committed team.
NHS Contract & Compliance: Deliver NHS requirements, maintain CQC compliance, support audits and reporting. Keeping the Clinical Director abreast of forthcoming changes in the NHS and giving him options for responding to change.
Private Services (Cedar Park): Coordinate private community services, manage patient flow, support service development and delivery.
Marketing & Business Development: Support marketing of private services, business promotion, and growth initiatives.
Private Insurance: Oversee private billing processes and manage relationships with private insurers.
Team Leadership: Manage admin and HCA staff, rota planning, recruitment and development. Filling in for absent colleagues in order to assist teams to complete tasks and projects.
Patient Experience: Maintain high standards, manage feedback and complaints.
Performance & Financial: Monitor performance, support cost control, identify improvements. Responsible for stock controls, inventory and ordering to ensuring levels are always maintained.
