Job summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our Hospitality team within a multi-award-winning organisation. This role is key to supporting the delivery of high-quality hospitality services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres.

Working 16 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays (11:00am 7:30pm).

You will help ensure a clean, welcoming, and efficient kitchen and dining environment.

Your responsibilities will include basic food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, supporting food service, and assisting with front-of-house duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, team-focused environment and takes pride in delivering great service to residents, visitors, and the wider community.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy hospitality service within a care and community setting.

You will assist with basic food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, prepare dining areas, and serve food and beverages to customers.

The role also includes operating the till when required and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a kitchen environment, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and undertake training.

This is a part-time role offering a supportive team environment and the chance to contribute to high-quality service delivery.
