Join Our Multi-Award-Winning Team! We are seeking Bank Mental Health Support Workers to join our Residential Care team, helping residents lead meaningful lives and stay connected to their community. You will provide care and support, including personal care, medication administration, and daily activities that promote choice, independence, and dignity. Work locations: Sidney Corob House (NW6 1DN) adults 50+ with mental health needs Jack Gardner House (NW11 9AG) Jewish adults 18+ with mental health needs This is a bank role covering various shifts, including nights, evenings, and weekends: 2 x Morning: 8am4pm 1 x Long Day: 8am10pm 1 x Night: 10pm8am
Main duties of the job
What You'll Be Doing In this rewarding role, you will: Provide personal care, assist with meals, and administer medication. Support residents in their daily routines to promote independence and wellbeing. Offer companionship and emotional support to residents. Assist in organising and participating in recreational activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to provide holistic support. What Were Looking For We are seeking individuals who are compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental health needs. You will ideally have: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions. Experience in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, ideally in a residential care setting. Experience providing personal care, administering medication, and completing risk assessments. The ability to engage and motivate individuals with complex needs. Experience working in a multicultural and diverse environment.
