Clinical Support Lead – Mental Health

Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a clinically experienced Clinical Support Lead Mental Health to support the Registered Manager and Care Management Teams across our specialist mental health residential care homes. This key role supports the effective day-to-day running of Sidney Corob House, providing care for adults aged 50+ with mental health needs, and Jack Gardner House, a safe and welcoming home for Jewish adults aged 18+ with mental health needs. You will play a central role in supporting high-quality clinical care, coordinating assessments and reviews, promoting best practice, and ensuring excellent standards of person-centred care. This is an ideal opportunity for a clinically experienced professional looking to step away from shift-based work while continuing to make a meaningful difference to residents lives. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am4pm.

Main duties of the job

What You Will Be Doing Clinical & Care Support Undertake and support mental health and wellbeing assessments, coordinate clinical and care interventions, and support medication management, emergency care, and clinical decision-making. Management & Service Support Work closely with the Registered Manager and Care Management Teams to support day-to-day operations, care planning, risk management, and service development, contributing clinical input to policies and service improvements. Multidisciplinary Working Act as a key liaison with healthcare professionals, community mental health services, external partners, residents, and families. Support and attend MDT meetings, reviews, and care planning discussions. Quality, Compliance & Governance Support CQC compliance, maintain accurate documentation and audits, and contribute to quality improvement and service reviews. Staff Support & Resident Advocacy Provide guidance and informal training to staff, promote best practice, and advocate for residents rights, dignity, and wellbeing, offering emotional support to residents and families. What You Will Need Essential: Clinical qualification (RGN, RMN, or relevant mental health degree), experience supporting adults with mental health needs and/or dementia, strong understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, capacity and DoLS, and the ability to work collaboratively with excellent communication skills. Desirable: Experience in quality improvement, audits, staff support, and knowledge of social care regulations. Why Join Jewish Care? What You Will Need Essential

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
