Job summary
This job role as an Activities Lead at Belmont Castle Care Home in Bedhampton, Hampshire, offers an opportunity to plan and facilitate engaging activities for the residents. The care home is a 40-bed residential, palliative, and dementia facility with a 'Good' CQC rating and a high customer satisfaction score. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a diverse range of activities to enrich the lives of the residents and support their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
Main duties of the job
The Activities Lead will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of activities for the residents, including recreational, educational, and therapeutic programs. This will involve working closely with the residents to understand their interests, preferences, and needs, and tailoring the activities accordingly. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for the residents. The successful candidate will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week, including every other weekend, and will be compensated at a rate of £14.10 per hour.
