Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a Head Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control in a 53-bed nursing, dementia, and residential home. As the Head Housekeeper, you will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the residents.

Main duties of the job

The Head Housekeeper is responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. This includes ensuring that all areas of the home are kept clean, well-organized, and inviting for the residents. The Head Housekeeper will also be responsible for overseeing the training and development of the housekeeping team, as well as implementing and maintaining infection prevention and control measures.
