Job summary
The role of Activities Co-Ordinator at Aria Healthcare in Tunbridge Wells involves planning and delivering engaging activities and events to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for the residents in their 42-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as a passion for improving the daily experiences of the individuals under their care.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a varied program of activities and events tailored to the diverse needs and interests of the residents. This will include physical, social, cognitive, and sensory activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, as well as facilitate social interaction and engagement. You will work closely with the care team to ensure a person-centered approach, and collaborate with residents and their families to understand their preferences and incorporate them into the activity schedule. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring the effectiveness of the activities, and continuously seeking ways to improve the residents' quality of life.
