Job summary

The Activities Co-ordinator role at Marchglen Care Centre is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents with learning disabilities, dementia, and nursing needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging activities that enrich the daily experiences of the care home's 37 residents.

Main duties of the job

As the Activities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating a diverse range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the residents. This may include arts and crafts, music, games, outings, and other recreational pursuits. You will need to be highly organized, creative, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to ensure that each resident is actively engaged and enjoying their time. This is a full-time role requiring flexible hours between 8 am and 8 pm, including weekend work.
