This is an exciting opportunity to join Aria Healthcare as a Sous Chef at their Kippingtons Nursing Home in Sevenoaks. You will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents, working alongside the Head Chef to showcase your culinary expertise and lead by example. The role offers a great work-life balance with no evening shifts and alternate weekends off.
Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in creating high-quality, fresh meals for the residents. You will have the creative flair to develop and execute innovative menu options using the best ingredients available. The role involves a fully supported induction to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge for working in a healthcare setting, as well as the opportunity to mentor and develop your team through the Chef Academy. You will be working 40 hours per week, with no evening shifts and alternate weekends off, providing an excellent work-life balance.
