Job summary
The Clinical Deputy Manager role at Sundridge Court Nursing Home in Bromley, Kent, offers an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join the leadership team of a 30-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home. The home has a CQC rating of 'Good' and is highly rated by residents and their families. The successful candidate will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of excellent person-centred care, enhance residents' wellbeing, and promote independence and choice.
Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, including overseeing the nursing team, ensuring high-quality clinical care, and promoting a positive and inclusive culture. You will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of the needs of older adults, particularly those living with dementia. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to effectively manage the clinical aspects of the home.
