Job summary

Aria Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their team at the 50-bedded Residential & Dementia care Home in Winshill, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both residents and staff, taking a leadership position and encouraging professional development within the team.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will assist with daily living activities, medication administration, and coordinating the care team to deliver a personalized and tailored approach. The role also involves mentoring and supporting junior care staff, promoting best practices and professional development.

  • Part Time - 24 hours per week - mainly day shifts with occasional night shifts - Alternate weekends required
  • NVQ level 3 desirable 
  • Ideally experience working as a senior currently - we may consider someone looking to progress their career to a senior 
  • £13.10 per hour
