Main duties of the job
The Head Chef will be responsible for leading the catering team, creating fresh and nutritious meals for the residents, and ensuring high-quality food presentation and service. The role involves a 40-hour work week, including alternate weekends, with a salary of £16 per hour. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ 2 or preferably an NVQ 3, as well as a Food Safety Level 3 qualification (which can be provided if needed). We are looking for a passionate Chef that will lead by example, mentor your team and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
