Job summary
This is a Head Chef role at Galsworthy House, a 72-bedded residential, nursing care and specialist Dementia home in Kingston upon Thames. The role offers a competitive salary of £39,281 per annum and the opportunity to work in a well-rated and inclusive care home setting.
Main duties of the job
The Head Chef will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents by using the best quality ingredients. The role requires a passionate and skilled chef who can lead by example, mentor the team, and showcase high-level hospitality. The schedule consists of straight shifts with no evenings, and there will be a fully supported induction to learn the technical skills required in healthcare. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to mentor the team and progress through the organization's Chef academy.
