Job summary
The role of Activities Coordinator at Aria Healthcare's L'Hermitage care home in St Peter, Jersey, is to plan and deliver a range of engaging activities and events that promote the health and well-being of the residents. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a diverse program of activities, such as arts and crafts, music, games, and outings, that cater to the interests and abilities of the residents. You will work closely with the care team to understand the individual needs and preferences of each resident, and tailor the activities accordingly. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for older adults.
