Job summary
The Activities Coordinator role at Aria Healthcare's 41-bed Residential, Nursing & Dementia care Home in St Peter, Jersey is responsible for enhancing the health and well-being of the residents through the development and delivery of engaging activities. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a wide range of activities, including physical, social, cognitive, and creative pursuits. Your role will be to ensure that each resident is able to make the most of every day, through the delivery of activities and ideas that bring out the best in them. You will work closely with the care team to understand the individual needs and preferences of the residents, and tailor the activities accordingly. The successful candidate will have a passion for improving the quality of life for the residents and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive environment.
