Job summary
Aria Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their team at L'Hermitage, a 41-bedded Residential, Nursing & Dementia care Home in St Peter, Jersey. The role involves providing senior-level support to both residents and staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset, be empathetic, and have strong leadership skills to guide and develop the care team.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of the residents, including personal care, medication administration, and promoting their wellbeing. You will also take on a leadership role, mentoring and developing the care team to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. The role requires working 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with shifts from 8am to 8pm.
