Job summary
The role of Activities Co-Ordinator at Holmwood Care Centre is to plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of meaningful activities and events that enrich the lives of the residents. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for working with older adults, and the ability to create engaging and inclusive programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program that promotes the physical, mental, and social well-being of the residents. This includes organizing group activities, one-on-one sessions, outings, and special events. You will work closely with the care team to understand the individual needs and preferences of each resident, and tailor the activities accordingly. The role also involves record-keeping, budget management, and collaborating with external organizations to enhance the activities program.
