Job summary
This is a part-time housekeeper role at Marchglen Care Centre, a 37-bedded Learning Disability, Dementia & Nursing Home in Fishcross, Alloa. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control throughout the home, working 12 hours per week over 2 days with some weekend work required. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated care team and make a real impact in the lives of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Housekeeper at Marchglen Care Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the home is kept clean, tidy and welcoming for the residents. This will involve tasks such as cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities to a high standard, as well as supporting with laundry and other domestic duties. You will work closely with the care team to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the residents.
