The Sous Chef role at Ferfoot Care Home in Chippenham, Wiltshire offers an exciting opportunity to work in a well-rated 52-bed residential and dementia care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using high-quality ingredients. Main duties of the job
As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to plan and prepare delicious, nutritious meals for the residents. You will have the creative flair to showcase high-level hospitality, and the ability to lead by example and mentor the catering team. The role offers straight shifts with no evenings, providing a great work-life balance. You will receive a fully supported induction to ensure you have the necessary technical skills for working in a healthcare setting, as well as the opportunity to progress through the company's Chef Academy.
