Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef at Bourne House Nursing Home, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparing and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents. You will be expected to have a passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team. The role consists of straight shifts with no evenings, and you will receive a fully supported induction to gain the necessary technical skills required in the healthcare setting. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor the team and progress through the Chef academy.
