Job summary

The role of a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare in Liss, Hampshire involves creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents of a 34-bedded Residential & Dementia Care Home. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and have the creative flair to showcase high-level hospitality. The role offers 30 hours per week with a salary of £14.50 per hour.

Main duties of the job

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals using the best fresh ingredients available. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the delivery of high-quality food to the residents. The role requires a passionate and skilled chef who can showcase their culinary expertise and provide a positive dining experience for the residents. You will also have the opportunity to mentor the catering team and contribute to the development of the Chef Academy.

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality.  The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings!  There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
