Job summary

Aria Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Housekeeper to join their team. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the care home. This is a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for the residents.

Main duties of the job

The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team, including scheduling, training, and supervising the staff. You will ensure that all areas of the care home are kept clean, well-maintained, and free from infection. This includes guest rooms, common areas, and any other spaces used by residents and staff. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and adhering to budgets. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
