Job summary

This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Beaumont Villa, a 41-bedded Residential Care Home in St Peter, Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both residents and staff in their everyday lives, taking a leadership role and encouraging development and growth within the team. Main duties of the job

The Senior Care Assistant will work full-time, 42 hours per week, on 12-hour day shifts from 8am to 8pm. They will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the residents, as well as leading and mentoring the care team. The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of elderly care and a commitment to providing person-centered care. They will also need to be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the residents.

  • The successful candidate will need to have previous experience as a Care Assistant, as well as relevant qualifications such as a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. They will also need to have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
