This is a Head Housekeeper role at a 60-bed Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care Home in Haslemere, Surrey. The successful candidate will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the residents. The role involves working on a rota basis to cover the 7-day period, including alternate weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

As the Head Housekeeper, you will play a central role in making the care home warm and inviting for the residents. You will lead a team of housekeepers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control throughout the home. The role requires previous experience as a Head Housekeeper, ideally in a care home setting. You should take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for the residents to live in.

  • Full time - 37.5 hours per week - working on a rota basis to cover across 7 day period, alternate weekends required -  bank holiday working is required also 
  • Previous experience as a head housekeeper required - care home housekeeper experience also may be considered
  • £13.40 per hour
