Job summary
The role of Activities Co-ordinator at Aria Healthcare's L'Hermitage care home in St Peter, Jersey involves planning and delivering a range of engaging activities and events to enhance the well-being and quality of life for the 41 residents. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to ensure each resident can make the most of every day.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a diverse activity program that caters to the diverse interests and needs of the residents. This includes organizing group activities, one-on-one sessions, outings, and special events. You will work closely with the care team to understand the residents' preferences and tailor the activities accordingly. The role also involves record-keeping, budgeting, and collaborating with external partners to provide enriching experiences for the residents.
