Main duties of the job

As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. This includes managing the cleaning schedules, overseeing the work of the team, and ensuring all areas of the home are maintained to a high standard. You will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring infection prevention control measures to keep the residents and staff safe. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
