Job summary
The role of Activities Lead at Denham Manor, a 52-bedded Residential, Nursing and Dementia Home, is to create and deliver engaging activities that enrich the lives of the residents. With a focus on passion, enthusiasm, and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will plan and facilitate activities that are fun, stimulating, and tailored to the needs and preferences of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Lead, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of the residents. This may include arts and crafts, music, games, outings, and other engaging experiences. You will work closely with the residents to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that every individual is able to participate and derive maximum benefit from the activities. The role requires strong communication, creativity, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the residents.

The key requirements for this role are a passion for working with older adults, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to design and facilitate engaging activities.
