Job summary

The Head Housekeeper role at Solent Grange Care Home is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control. You will lead a team of housekeepers to ensure the highest levels of hygiene and create a warm, welcoming environment for the residents.

Main duties of the job

As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the care home is kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This includes scheduling and supervising the work of the housekeeping team, ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, and monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed. You will also play a key role in implementing and maintaining infection prevention and control measures throughout the home.
