This is a senior care assistant role at a 41-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home in St Peter, Jersey. The successful candidate will support both residents and staff in their everyday lives, taking on a leadership role and encouraging development and growth within the team.
Main duties of the job
The role of Senior Care Assistant involves providing high-quality care and support to residents in a 41-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home. The successful candidate will have experience as a senior care assistant and hold an RQF 2 or 3 qualification. They will also be responsible for medication administration, with a desirable qualification in this area. The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, including 12-hour night shifts and alternate weekends.
