Job summary
Aria Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Chef to join their team at Scoonie House, a 36-bedded residential home in Leven, Fife. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using the best available ingredients. This is a permanent position with bank hours required, offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.21.
Main duties of the job
As an Assistant Chef at Aria Healthcare, your primary duties will include preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, and contributing to the overall culinary excellence of the home. You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement creative menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of the residents. The role offers a supportive induction, mentoring opportunities, and the chance to progress within the company's Chef Academy.

We are looking for a passionate Chef that will lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
