Job summary
The role of Activities Coordinator at Aria Healthcare's Oaken Holt Estate in Farmoor, Oxfordshire is to create and deliver engaging activities and experiences that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for the residents in the 53-bed residential and nursing home, as well as the 40-bed nursing, dementia, and palliative care home. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a passion for ensuring that every resident can make the most of every day.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the residents. This may include arts and crafts, music sessions, exercise classes, outings, and more. You will work closely with the care team to understand the preferences and abilities of each resident, and tailor the activities accordingly.
