Job summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone starting a career in finance, providing hands-on experience within a professional finance team. The apprentice will gain practical exposure to financial processes and contribute to the smooth running of the department while building a strong foundation for future progression in finance.

Main duties of the job

The Finance Apprentice will support the smooth running of the finance team. They will assist with processing invoices and purchase orders, help manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure financial records are accurate and well-maintained. The apprentice will also help with petty cash, support month-end and year-end accounting activities, and prepare basic financial reports. They will input and check data using accounting software such as Sage and provide general administrative support. Throughout the role, they will take part in training to develop their financial knowledge and practical skills.
