Main duties of the job
Role Overview
As Deputy Manager, you will day to day running of the service, helping ensure high quality, compliant, and person centred support. You will lead by example, supporting staff development, and step in for the Registered Manager when required.
Key responsibilities
Support the set-up and day to day operation of the service
Assist with recruiting and developing the team in line with our values
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and internal policies
Work closely with our support teams and the local authority to introduce new people we support into the service
Build and maintain positive relationships with families and stakeholders
Lead shifts and support colleagues to deliver high quality care
About you
Experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader or a leadership role in adult social care
Level 3 diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to work towards desirable)
Good understanding of CQC requirements
Confident, supportive leader with strong communication kills
Passion for person- centred support and team development
