As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £13.15 -£16.20 per hour, after training is completed.
This position is for 20 hours per week based on a 12 month fixed term contract, including variable shifts.
Main duties of the job
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant include but are not limited to
Assisting with personal care needs including bathing, dressing and toileting
Medication administration
Meeting our client’s complex health care needs including the use of ventilation, cough assist and chest physio
Blood pressure monitoring
Moving and Handling as well as repositioning
Assisting our client to access the community
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
A caring and empathetic nature
Good communication skills
A genuine desire to support others
Basic IT and record-keeping skills
A full UK driving licence is advantageous
Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provid
