We are looking for someone to complete 24 hours per week. 

This position includes days and waking nights.

Full assistance with all aspects of daily living – includes personal care, meal preparation, eating & drinking, maintaining the home environment, maintaining safety, social activities both in & out the house, toileting, high sensory needs. 

 

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants will work on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and the night meeting all the clients needs which are complex. The client can present with challenging behaviours however the risk of these are reduced through the care and support the client receives when PAs follow the care plan and the training they have received.

This position includes days and waking nights. Shift pattern would be 8am until 8pm for days and 8pm until 8am for waking nights. 

£14.75 for both days and nights

About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £14.75 per hour.

This position is for 24 hours per week and includes a mixture of both day shifts and waking nights shifts. Current shift pattern is 8am - 8pm days, 8pm-8am waking nights. 

Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant

  • Support our client with her personal care needs and toileting needs
  • Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
  • Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
  • Administering medication when required

 

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Good communication skills
  • A genuine desire to support others
  • Basic IT and record-keeping skills
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
