We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client with complex mental health, challenging behaviours and autism in Northwich, Winnington area on a part time basis.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £15.60 for day shifts and £78.28 per sleeping night shift
This position involves 28 hours per week, which are 2 sleeping night shifts 18:00-8:00am on a Thursday and a Saturday Evening.
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
The role involves supporting a gentleman living within in his own home to explore and enjoy the local community
Assisting our client with their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
Supporting our client to attend appointments and community activities
Administering medication when required

What We’re Looking For

- Good communication skills
- A genuine desire to support others
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
