We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a female client based in Chester, CH2.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £12.75 per hour for day hours and £69.76 per sleeping night shift (8 hour sleep).
This position involves a full-time role 36 hours per week, including a mixture of day shifts and sleeping night shifts.
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
Assisting our client in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
Supporting our client to attend appointments and community activities
Administering medication when required
Assisting with budgeting and financial management
Attending football activities and visiting family
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
A caring and empathetic nature
Good communication skills
A genuine desire to support others
Basic IT and record-keeping skills
A full UK driving licence is advantageous
Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
