We are looking for confident and enthusiastic support workers who can support individuals within our short stay (respite) provision in the Northwich, Cheshire area. This role is ideal for people who enjoy leading activities, promoting independence, and creating positive, engaging experiences for the people they support.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay of £15.00 per hour (after completion of training).
Main duties of the job
The role will be a mixture of day and night shifts (sleeping & waking), with both full-time and part-time positions available. You will be paid £15.00 per hour for day shifts and a reduced rate for sleeping night shifts (after completion of training).
The successful applicant will be providing support to individuals with the following needs:
• Learning disabilities
• Autism
• Additional support needs
The role will involve supporting individuals to take part in meaningful activities, both within the service and in the community, ensuring each person has a safe, enjoyable and fulfilling respite experience.
Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism is advantageous, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
