We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a female client with physical and mental health disabilities.

About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £12.75 per hour.

This position is for 16 hours per week and includes days/afternoon shift on a 2:1 basis.

Main duties of the job

Support required with the following:

Personal hygiene 

Meal preparation

Support to shop for food, drink and essential items

Support to attend appointments

Support to access activities within the community within areas of interest

Support to maintain her environment

 

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:

A caring and empathetic nature

Good communication skills

A genuine desire to support others

Basic IT and record-keeping skills

A full UK driving licence is advantageous

Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided

  • Good communication skills
  • A genuine desire to support others
