We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client on a bank basis with his complex health needs based in Walney, Barrow in Furness.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay of £19.14 an hour after completion of training.
This job involves day and waking night hours
Day hours - 15.30-18.30 or 15.30-18.00 (these times can be flexible)
Waking night – 22.00-07.00
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client on a bank basis with his complex health needs on both a 2:1 and 1:1 basis.
This is a bank position to help support our cleint after school and occasional waking night to cover sickness or annual leave
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
Support with tracheostomy care
Assisting clients in their daily routines, including personal care
Providing companionship and emotional support
Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
Administering medication when required
This job involves day and waking night hours
Day hours - 15.30-18.30 or 15.30-18.00 (these times can be flexible)
Waking night – 22.00-07.00

- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
