We are looking for a Live In Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client with Spinal Muscular Atrophy based in London, SW19 and SW7 postcode areas.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Live In Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay of £163.71 per day (£1146.00 per week of work) after completion of training.
Main duties of the job
This job involves Live In Care, where you will work one week on and one week off with emergency sickness cover required. You will also receive 14 hours break during your week on.
As a Live In Care Support Assistant you will be working day shifts and sleeping night shifts and will be supporting our client with his complex needs on a 2:1 basis. Our client attends University and you will be required to support him at his university halls of residence in the SW7 postcode area as well as at his family residence in the SW19 postcode area.
Your responsibilities as our Live In Care Support Assistant will include: Meeting our client's complex care needs such as moving and handling, personal care, secretion and saturation management, use of ventilation and administering medication as well as accessing the community and maintaining the home environment.
Skills and Experience required of our Live In Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
